It's a question we ask ourselves every year – go real or artificial for your Christmas tree? Whatever your preference, bargain store B&M is offering their customers the opportunity to go real by selling fantastic value and quality real Christmas trees so you can bring that authentic sense of Christmas into your home.

The bargain store is selling three both cut and pot-grown trees across stores nationwide. Their pot grown trees - Picea Omorika, Blue Spruce, Noble and Nordman Fir - start at only £12.95 and range from 40cm up to 125cm. Cut trees, such as the Nordman Fir, Fraser Fir & Norway Spruce all with prices starting from just £20 – unbelievable value for these tree varieties and sizes available on the market. The Norway Spruce 5 6ft sits at a fantastic offering of £20. This is one of the cheapest prices for the size and style.

All of B&M's real trees are grown in the UK, specifically in Inverness, Scotland. The suppliers pride themselves on the growing techniques to help grow well-balanced trees that receive a great deal of care throughout their lives. These trees usually must be nurtured for between 6-8 years to ensure outstanding quality, and B&M's suppliers go above and beyond.

 So why go real?

B&M's real Christmas trees are fantastic value, so for the families that want to save on the cost of Christmas this year, the £20 for 5-6ft price point will help families to have a magical Christmas without fear of cost. Additionally, real Christmas trees are great for the environment and their production means that crops can absorb tonnes of C02 emissions every year. Each field of trees is also teeming with wildlife, flora and fauna that are delicately protected by the producers, and of course, when customers get a tree into their home, they will get the great smell of a real tree as well as the benefit of a tree unique to them. What's not to love?

And do not forget real Christmas trees need real care.

Ensure you follow the below care instructions to make sure your tree stays fresh, plump, and green throughout the festive period:

• Water your tree regularly.

 • Keep your tree away from open flames and heat sources.

 • A corner is good – it keeps your tree safer from knocks and bumps.

 • If you'll be using lights to decorate your tree, try to place the tree close to a socket.

 • Cover the floor or table where the tree will be placed to help protect it from water spillages.

 • Wear garden gloves when handling them as sensitive skin can get a mild allergic reaction and rash.

When you get your tree home, leave it outside until you are ready to decorate, then when you do bring it indoors follow these important steps:

 • Display it in a place away from direct heat.

 • Cut a small piece from the stump and place it in a water-holding Christmas tree stand.

 • Keep the water topped up - TREES DRINK WATER!
